These activities are ideally suited to very short bursts of activity at the start of, or during, a conference or just after lunch to get over the lunchtime siesta and can last on average for 15-45 minutes:

Body Percussion

A highly experienced body percussionist will teach all delegates the art of creating music by using just their bodies. This skill is great fun to learn and an ideal icebreaker / energizer that requires no equipment and involves everybody no matter what their age or physical ability. The body percussion teacher is Adele Thompson who is an experienced percussionist and circus artist. Adele was one of the original cast members of the popular stage show Stomp.

Cerebration

With 100 tasks that have to be performed throughout the session this really is the ultimate challenge for your teams! Tasks break down into different sections and encompass out of the box creative tasks, team tasks, solution seeking tasks and manual building tasks. Works as well for 45 minutes as 3 hours.

Egg Launch

Using bamboo, canes, string, paper cups, bungee, sell tape and ingenuity, teams have to construct a launcher capable of throwing an egg. Team that throws the furthest is the winner!

Film Making

Create your own 30-second promotional advert within the hour using the available props and a lot of patience and ingenuity. Can be used to promote a business message/product/department.

Giraffe

Create the tallest giraffe from newspaper and sellotape! Its just amazing what happens with this one and we often see bodies being used as well as hat stands and anything else that happens to be in the room!

Haka

A fabulously lively and visual energizer. Each table will be given a tribal pack containing their tribal name and tribal war paint. Selected Guests are encouraged to wear their tribal markings with pride! We invite select tables up to perform in a head to head tribal battle...this encourages a little healthy competition, before building towards the finale where the whole group 'HAKA'.

Line Dancing

Angelique and Geoff in full US of A cowboy gear will take you through the basic steps and have the whole group swinging together within 30 minutes.

Quiz

Quickfire, simple and effective. Questions can be included about your business message for the day if required. Can also include music rounds, trivia, sport and general knowledge.

Rollercoaster

A superb building project that suits groups of 20-200 and can last from 45-90 minutes. The main objective of the teams is to design a device that will transport a ball around a set pattern of arenas using paper rods! Initially each team works on their own part of the Rollercoaster design but they are part of a bigger picture, even if they do not realise it yet. Read more about Rollercoaster here.

Self-propelled vehicle

Teams have to create a self-propelled vehicle from the assorted collection of boxes, paper plates, string, sell tape, rods, rubber bands and balloons. After a prescribed time to build then the grand race to see which can go the furthest. Best done indoors.
